Welcome to the website of Randy Ball Photography. Since 1980, I have captured images of the Southern Appalachians in color and black and white. Over 100 different magazines have used my photographs, including Blue Ridge Country, Farm & Ranch Living, Appalachian Heritage, Now & Then, Campus Life, Tennessee Magazine, Tennessee Banker, and many others. Several books have featured my images. Due to schedule contraints, I accept only limited local projects, and am concentrating on photographing east Tennessee and the beautiful Southern Appalachians. I offer prints and books for sale at the Local Artists Gallery on Main Street in Rogersville, as well as through this website. Feel free to e-mail me if you're interested in a print or an image for publication. I just recently completed a new book for Arcadia Publishing, Rogersville, as part of their "Images of America Series." My most recent project is Lost Highways, a collection of images of roads, cars and signs, published through blurb.com.
My books Appalachian Photographs and Impressions are available at blurb.com.
The above photo is from a new series called "Inspirations".
